a wanna know the best way to turn off that crazy thing?  I hate ‘em frankly…  They’re useless and they get to be too much for me.

Crack open your Administrators’ panel, go to Appearance – and select Editor.

First thing up to edit should be your stylesheet (filename style.css)

Roll all the way to the bottom and add this:

 

.avatar {
display:none;
}

…without the quotes of course.  Save it and you’re done!
